Volunteer with Us and Enrich Lives!
Our nonprofit serving local seniors depends on volunteers to help us provide transportation, meals, activities, and other services to the elderly in our community. We have many rewarding volunteer opportunities where you can make a real difference!
Some current needs include:
- Senior Help Desk Volunteers - Greet seniors, answer questions, assist with paperwork, and help provide resources. Help bridge the digital divide. We especially need help during our busiest morning hours.
- Transportation Drivers - Drive seniors to medical appointments, shopping trips, and other necessary errands with our vehicles. Flexible weekly schedules.
- Meal Deliveries - Deliver nutritious meals to homebound seniors. Routes take 1-2 hours.
- Handy Helpers - Help with maintenance, repairs, gardening, and deep cleaning at our senior centers and thrift stores. Great for groups and youth volunteers!
- Activity & Event Assistants - Help set up, serve snacks, lead arts & crafts, provide tech help, play music, and more during our daily senior activities and special events.
- Sponsorships & Donations - Sponsor our bingo games, make goodie and emergency preparedness bags, provide prizes, decorate for holidays and parties, supply fresh flowers or baked treats, lead a class or discussion group, and more.
- Companions - Provide friendship and social interaction to seniors through weekly in-person visits or phone calls. Listen, have conversations, and enjoy activities together.
